So an alternative to going out with an rv is to simple go to someone's house. And that's what we did today in the Val-de-Reuil countryside. As we pulled into the driveway we noticed that they had bought a pool and a trampoline (they have 3 kids).
It was a beautiful Normandy day, sunny but not too hot. They kids loved it, running around in all the outdoor space without us having to worry about things like cars. They were also able to socialize with other kids for the first time in almost three months. We spend the entire day there eating, drinking, chatting, and playing with the dogs.
This is how they spent the lockdown. They said it felt like a vacation. Defintely makes one see the advantages of not living in the city.
