dance day 19

So I read an article in the Washington post asking 3 experts what they would or wouldn’t do this summer.  Below the highlights.

Public pool - 2/3 said yes
Beach - 3/3 said yes
Plane - 3/3 said no
Road trip - 3/3 said yes
Visit grandparents - 3/3 said reluctant yes with the following advice:  keep a safe distance, have everyone wear masks, wash or sanitize hands frequently.  Shorter visits outdoors would be best.  One even recommended 14 day self-quarantine beforehand.
Stay in a hotel - 3/3 said yes
Camping - 3/3 said yes
Go to a cookout - 3/3 said yes
Send a child to day camp - 3/3 said yes
Allow your child to play team sports - 2/3 said yes depending on the sport
Send a child to sleep-away camp - 2/3 said no

My takeaways?

-Better outdoors then indoors
-Avoid crowds
-When you can, DIY (food, cleaning, etc.)

dance day 18

So when they started the dance May 11th they separated France into two zones, red and green:

Here’s the map today:

So instead of being red we’re orange which I guess means we’re not great but we’re not terrible either.

Along with the map comes phase 2 of the dance notably:

- Parks, gardens, beaches, and lakes will be reopened
- Restaurants to re-open (Only terraces in zone orange)
- No more 100 kilometers limit

Phase 2 starts June 2nd.  Normandy beaches here I come!
