So the EU has opened it's borders to non-EU countries:  Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay

A big part of the criteria was that COVID-19 outbreak to be the same or better than the EU (16 cases per 100,000 people over the last two weeks).

So yeah U.S. is so far not on the list.
