So I read an article about people who spend a lot of time
alone in a small space like astronauts.
One piece of advice that they give is:
Don’t count the days.
I wonder if doing a blog entry every single day since the
lockdown begin and then naming that blog entry the previous day + 1 counts as
counting.
No matter even if it does I can’t stop now. It’s like my daughter who’s happy every time
she’s able to count a little more. She’s
up to 70 which she mistakenly says sept-ente which makes sense but of course
because we’re in France is wrong because she has to take sixty and add it to ten. Unfortunately for her she's only able to add up
numbers that add up to ten which is the number of fingers she has. I can’t even imagine when she’ll get to
eighty and have to do multiplication (Honey, all you have to do is take four
and multiply it by twenty and voila!).
At this point I’m sure she’ll ask me to move to Belgium where they speak
French and have common sense. But of course we can’t because of the
lockdown.
Oh right the lockdown.
And yes the counting. Now that we’re
up to 39 days of lockdown I can’t just stop.
It’s like how far can we go? Can
we beat Wuhan China (76 days)?
See? It’s fun.
