So yesterday I took a walk and saw a "give a book take a book" box.  Having just finished a book on my Kindle I opened it though mostly out of curiousity.  To my pleasant surprise found a book in English.  I took it.

Since covid I have read almost exclusively on my Kindle.  How strange it was to know the length of a book by it's thickness.  How strange it was to turn pages feeling the edges with my fingers.  How strange it was to put the book down and have to find my place again the next time I picked it up.  

The book it turns out is about a woman in prison.  Makes the lockdown seem not so bad.
