So after coming back down to earth I found a house within my budget and although not in the 17^th it was in Montmartre, one my favorite neighborhoods, and on rue de Lepic to boot.  I admit it was kind of small, a 2 room (1 bedroom) 27m² for 342 875 euros:

Knowing full well I could never squeeze my family in there I called anyways just to see if it was still available.  It’s not.
