So there's a French study about how kids aren't as contagious as adults when it comes to covid.

So my old university is holding classes with an on-campus covid testing facility and relocation policy in place.

Seems expensive. Wonder where the money comes from and where the data goes.

So we have a video intercom system and now with masks everytime I get visitors I feel like I'm in a heist.

So I went to a teacher parents meeting.  Everyone had masks and the teacher explained that sometimes the kids had a hard time dictating because they can't see her mouth under the mask and the way the mouth forms the letters is very important for kids.

I get it.  People have a harder time understanding me now that I wear a mask.  The other day I ordered a pain au chocolat and got a croissant.  I guess I could've shouted, moved closer to the person, or removed my mask to be understood but those are against my covid reflexes. 

I ate the croissant.  It was good. 

Day 123-124

So I haven't been out much lately since wearing a mask all the time has become mandatory.  In some ways I feel more free in my home sans mask than outside my home constant mask.  Eventually though I needed to get out and the alarmingly hot weather in Paris (in the 90s) these past couple of days got me out and to Deauville on my day off:

It felt nice to escape the city heat.

So ever since covid I, like most people, have been working from home almost exclusively.  I finally got around to creating a space for this instead of using the dining room table and getting annoyed at having to move everything during meals.

 So in response to worsening conditions, the prime minister announced new measures:

- reduce self-isolation period from 14-days down to 7 days

- fast track testing for health officials

- a call for personal reponsibility
