So my kids have outgrown their shoes so I stopped by the Monoprix on the off chance shoes are considered an essential item (non-essentials will be available again in stores May 19th).
The Monoprix I went to sells everything and they had sectioned off parts of the store with things they couldn't sell with caution tape. But I saw shoes so I was hopeful until I realized the only shoes I could buy were baby shoes. Anything bigger than european kid size 24 (US kid size 8) was in the taped off noneseential section.
Which means...
Essential: Shoes for those who do not walk
Non-essential: Shoes for those who do walk
Right.
