So we went to see turtles:

Husband:  Ta da.

Us: (Looking)

Daughter:  They're not doing anything.

Husband:  They're sunbathing.

Daughter:  This is boring.

Me:  Turtles aren't the fastest animals.

Husband:  Look that one blinked!

Daughter:  Can we go?

Husband:  Look that one is going in the water.

Us: (Looking.  Turtle moves foot)

Me:  It's thinking of going in the water.

Husband: ...

Me:  But it definitely blinked.
